Are you a Carer?
Many people support a friend or loved one who relies on them, without realising their role has an official name, an unpaid Carer.
In fact, it takes on average two years for someone to realise they are classed as a Carer. While you will always be first and foremost a spouse, sibling, child or friend, recognising you are also a Carer means you will be able to access support and services to help you in your life and caring role.
The chart to the right shows the number of Carers in the UK and who they care for.
