Sandwell Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme – Summer 2026
Looking for ways to keep your children active, engaged and having fun over the summer holidays? The Sandwell Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is back for Summer 2026, offering a fantastic range of activities for eligible children and young people across the borough.
From sports and creative workshops to outdoor adventures and SEND-friendly sessions, there is something for every child to enjoy.
Who Can Take Part?
The programme is available to school-aged children attending a Sandwell school who receive benefit-related free school meals.
Dates
Tuesday 21 July – Monday 31 August 2026
(Excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays)
Bookings open: 1 July 2026
Activities Available
Children can choose from a wide variety of activities, including:
- Activities for primary school children
- Activities for secondary school children
- Inclusive activities for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, games and much more
Activities take place across all six Sandwell towns, and families can book sessions at any location within the borough.
How to Book
For HAF-Eligible Families
Eligible families will receive a HAF Activity Voucher by email or text message. This includes your child’s unique booking code and a direct link to book free sessions, which also include a nutritious meal.
For All Other Families
Many holiday activities are also available for children who are not eligible for the HAF programme. Some activities may have a small charge.
