Welcome to your Sandwell Carers Week event 2026, celebrating the incredible contribution of unpaid Carers across our community.

Forward Carers are thrilled to bring together unpaid Carers, community organisations, statutory services and partners from across Sandwell for this family-friendly celebration at the wonderful Sandwell Valley Visitor Centre.

There will be entertainment, wellness activities, and plenty more. Bring the whole family (dogs are welcome too)!

There are over 40 confirmed information stands alongside activities such as tai-chi, yoga, and face painting, and live performances from the likes Sohran Bhangra.

Midland Mencap will also be bringing their Parkride Accessible Bikes, giving attendees the chance to experience an accessible wellbeing ride.

Whether you are a Carer, support someone who is, or work in a service that supports Carers, this event offers a welcoming space to discover support and meet others.

The event runs from 10am – 2:30pm, pop in at any time!

The event is totally free and will include tokens for refreshments.
