Families Together – Family Action Sandwell

Are you worried about conflict in your relationship and how it may be affecting your family? Families Together, delivered by Family Action, provides support for parents and couples living in Sandwell to build healthier relationships, improve communication and help prevent domestic abuse.
The programme supports mums, dads and co-parents who want to strengthen family relationships in a safe and supportive environment.
What Support Is Available?
Families Together offers a range of tailored support, including:
- Women’s Toolkit – a 10-week programme covering topics such as self-esteem, healthy relationships, communication, boundaries, parenting and staying safe.
- Any Man Can – a 12-week programme exploring identity, communication, managing anger, relationships, consent and future planning.
- One-to-One Support – up to three personalised sessions for individuals who would benefit from tailored guidance, including safety planning and signposting where appropriate.
Who Can Access the Programme?
The service is available to individuals or couples who are committed to engaging with the programme.
Access is available through:
- Self-referral
- Referral from a professional, such as a social worker, health visitor, school or another support organisation.
Please note the programme is preventative in nature and is not suitable for high-risk domestic abuse cases, people whose primary need is alcohol or drug misuse, or those with recent high-risk criminal convictions that may pose a risk to staff or others.
