Bereavement Support Session

Bereavement Support Session for Carers
Caring for someone you love can bring a wide range of emotions. Sometimes this can include grief. It can begin while you are still caring, as you adjust to changes in health, roles, or relationships. It’s important to recognise these feelings and know that support is available.
Our Bereavement Support Session offers Carers a safe, welcoming space to explore and understand grief, connect with others who may be experiencing similar emotions, and learn practical ways to support their own wellbeing.
During this session, we will explore:
-
How grief can affect us emotionally and physically
-
A supportive space for Carers to recognise and validate their feelings
-
A ‘Circle of Support’ activity to help identify personal and community support networks
-
Recognising signs of grief and developing self-care strategies
