New Horizons – Grow Your Potential

Are you looking to build your confidence, develop new skills and get support to return to work?
Starting in September, the New Horizons programme offers a range of learning, wellbeing and employment support to help you take your next steps.
The programme is open to people aged 19+ who are:
💼 Long-term unemployed
💚 Living with a long-term illness or disability
🤝 A Carer
What support is available?
👥 Face-to-face workshops covering teamwork, equality and diversity, communication skills, maths, English, digital skills, workplace skills, budgeting and money.
💚 Health and wellbeing support including resilience, mindfulness, self-confidence, healthy eating, exercise and fitness, and first aid.
📚 Independent learning – depending on the programme you choose, you can complete online learning at your own pace. There may also be opportunities to find a volunteer placement to gain valuable work experience.
💼 Employment support including CV writing, interview skills, job searching, careers advice, work experience and one-to-one mentoring.

You’ll start with a skills scan, create an aspirations plan, complete your programme activities and receive support to identify your next steps.
